Enroute to Babel
Dec. 15th, 2016 05:28 pmIt was rare for Spock to venture off colony in his old age, content to be of assistance to his people at home as it grew at an exponential rate. However when his father had informed him of his impending trip to Babel for a diplomatic debate, Spock sought permission to accompany him as both companion and aide. To observe, he told himself, not to interfere.
Upon request, Sarek had proven himself to be in good health. The Andorian party did not contain a member named Thelev. No ship, Orion or otherwise, pursued them as of yet. It was illogical to assume the events would unfold as they had before but that did not stop him from experiencing a constant sense of unease. As Sarek meditated, Spock retreated to the relative privacy of the Observation Deck to seek haven in the usually quiet and dark location. The stars as they raced by did little to comfort him.
